Installation Guide for Hanging Objects
These objects are heavy and must be installed securely.
If you are unsure, hire a professional installer.
Things that help
• Stud finder
• Level
• Tape measure
• Drill
• Screws and anchors rated for the weight
• A second person for large pieces
Each mirror includes French cleat hardware unless noted otherwise.
Step-by-Step
1. Locate Studs
Use a stud finder to locate wall studs.
Whenever possible, anchor the cleat directly into studs.
If studs are not available, use heavy-duty drywall anchors rated well above the mirror’s weight.
2. Install the Wall Cleat
Hold the wall cleat level and mark screw holes.
Drill pilot holes, then attach the cleat firmly to the wall using appropriate screws.
Check with a level before tightening completely.
3. Hang the Mirror
With two people, lift the mirror and lower the back cleat onto the wall cleat.
Make sure it is fully seated before letting go.
4. Final Check
Gently test stability.
Ensure the mirror is flush against the wall and secure.
